Repair Re-Inspection Verification“It's been fixed” is a claim. This is the evidence.

After the repairs come the questions: done, done right, done at all? A verification visit re-examines previously documented items and replaces assurances with dated photographs.

The standard

Verification is evidence — not a warranty of the repair.

Every repair negotiation ends with an invoice and a promise. What it usually lacks is independent confirmation — the buyer is closing on a seller's receipt, the homeowner is trusting a contractor's text message, and nobody has re-opened the original finding to look. Verification is that look: the previously documented items, re-examined and re-photographed, with each one's current condition stated plainly.

The boundary is part of the standard: verification documents observed condition at the time of re-inspection. It is not a warranty of the repair's workmanship or future performance — that belongs to the repairing contractor — and the report says so. What independent verification adds is the thing invoices can't: dated photographic evidence that the documented deficiency now looks the way everyone agreed it should.

The boundary
Trust the contractor. Verify the repair. Those aren't in conflict.

The scope

From original finding to closed loop.

Verification works from your existing Lunar report — defined scope, quick scheduling, documentation within 24 hours.

01

Scope from the original report

The items to verify are the ones already documented — each with its original photo and location, so nothing is re-litigated from memory.

02

Item-by-item re-examination

Each repair is examined and re-photographed from the original vantage where possible — the clearest before/after evidence a file can hold.

03

Plain-status reporting

Each item is reported as addressed, partially addressed, or unchanged — with photographs, not adjectives, carrying the conclusion.

04

Insurance-feature capture

Upgrades that qualify for wind credits get flagged — and can be documented on the current OIR-B1-1802 in the same visit.

05

Updated record within 24 hours

The verification report delivers within 24 hours — to you, your agent, or the closing file that's waiting on it.
